A POPULAR festive attraction is set to light up the woodlands at Westonbirt Arboretum once again.
Enchanted Christmas is an event led by the Forestry Commission each year as part of its festive programme of events.
The trees and paths at Westonbirt Arboretum will be lit up to create a festive spectacle attended by hundreds of people of all ages.
Paul Cody, head of visitor attraction at the Forestry Commission, said that the event will have timed entry due to its mass popularity.
“Enchanted Christmas proves to be one of the biggest festive events in the South West every year attracting people from all over The Cotswolds and as far as south Wales, Somerset and London,” said Paul.
“The already beautiful National Arboretum is transformed into a thing of wonder that thrills both adults and children every year.
“It’s a festive spectacle like no other.
“Because Enchanted Christmas proves more popular with each passing year all tickets must be pre-booked via phone or online, with timed entry for the trail itself and the rest of the evening to enjoy the festivities.
“That way everyone that comes to see us also gets to meet Father Christmas during the course of their visit.”
The walk will include annual favourites such as the Singing Tree, the Giant Smoke Ring Canon and the Leaf Keyboard with the addition of new surprise for 2017 to keep regular visitors thrilled.
In addition to the Enchanted Christmas illuminated walk there will be festive food, drink and Christmas shopping for all the family.
Tickets are available for the following days:
